Hi there! My name is Giae Dérissé and I’m so happy you landed on my page!
About Me & About the Blog: I started this blog right before my clinical pharmacy residency training began as a space to promote the field of pharmacy, highlight all the amazing things pharmacists do, help pharmacy professionals, provide resources and advice, and share other topics that are on my mind. Since starting this blog, my life has evolved quite a bit and I’m so grateful for this journey I’m on! In this season of my life, I share everyday life, pharmacy, travels, fitness, food, career, advocacy, and more. It’s a little bit of my personal life and a little bit of my professional life and I’m always mindful to share intentionally.
A Little About Me
- I’m from New Jersey
- I’m a clinical pharmacist by training, but now work in a corporate setting
- I love exploring new restaurants, traveling, and having new experiences
Education & Training
- Received my undergrad degree and then received my Doctorate Degree (PharmD)
- After pharmacy school, I completed a clinical pharmacy practice residency
- After residency, I worked as a multi-specialty Clinical Pharmacist in an inpatient setting and during that time became a board-certified pharmacist – more specifically a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist
- I’m just in awe of what God has done in my life. It’s only because of God’s unending mercy, grace, and love that I’m here today. Life hasn’t been without challenges so I’m grateful for this life that I get to live.
